​​​​​Over the past 10 years, Dr. Mandy Bains has earned a reputation for her exceptional knowledge and dedication to providing personalized care in Optometry. With her warm and friendly nature, Dr. Bains understands each patient is unique and she takes the time to listen attentively, build trust, and ensure she addresses their specific needs. With this caring approach, she has been able to build and grow her practice.

Dr. Bains completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in exercise physiology. With her strong passion for health care, Dr. Bains went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science, in addition to her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Eye Institute at Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over the years, she has acquired experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, and pre and post-operative lasik and cataract care for diverse patient populations in Florida, Texas, and Ontario. Her focus continues to be on primary eye care services, myopia management, and contact lenses. Now as a practice owner, Dr. Bains focuses on staying at the forefront of her field by embracing new technologies and staying up-to-date with the most latest advancements.

Dr. Bains is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and playing sports with her husband and two young children.

​​​​​Dr. Maria Riaz is passionate about prioritizing eye health and is dedicated to addressing each patient’s eye care needs. She is committed to providing high quality patient centered care and ensuring her patients have a positive experience. Dr. Maria has a special interest in contact lenses, pediatrics, myopia control, and ocular disease.

Dr. Maria was raised in Mississauga, Ontario where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science in Vision Science from the New England College of Optometry and graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Maria completed clinical internships in Boston, Massachusetts, where she gained experience in managing ocular disease, pediatric care, and contact lens fittings.

She is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Canadian Association of Optometrists, and Ontario Association of Optometrists. In her spare time, she enjoys playing badminton and spending time with family.

Dr. Navroop Kaur grew up in Brampton, Ontario, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. She always had a passion for helping others and found optometry to be a rewarding career.

Dr. Nav completed her optometry degree with honors at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. During her studies, she was an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society, President of the Canadian Association of Optometry Students, served as Vice President of the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and won the Essilor-Luxottica Student Bowl. Her externships in South Florida focused on myopia control, specialty contact lenses, dry eye, and ocular disease management.

Dr. Nav is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).

In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, travelling and trying new cuisines, and spending time with her family and friends.
